Welcome to the Wiki which has been set up for the evaluation of the "Bits to Blogs" seminar held at Teesside University, 18th October 2006.

This Wiki has been set up for use after the workshop, for attendees to evaluate the event.

We would welcome your thoughts on the day, particularly those relating to...

  • the presentations
  • how relevent you felt the day was to you and/or your organisation
  • your thoughts on the venue
  • are there any other topic areas you'd like to know more about based on the event?

We'd also be interested to know if anyone has any follow activities planned, or any thoughts about how to move forward in this area. And if you've encounteres or perceive any barriers or hurdles.

These are just a few areas we thought you'd like to comment on, if you can think of anything else, we'd welcome those comments too. Thank you. (Before using it please read the AUP..)

I was a bit nervous before the day as I am quite low tech and I was worried it would all go over my head, but I found it to be a very useful and enlightening day. It was good to have the technical terms explained as IT can have lots of jargon, and I felt inspired to go away and have a go at exploring some of these new ideas! It was good to be able to have a go at the different technologies there and then rather than just listening to someone explain them - nice lunch too!!

I found the day to be very valuable. All of the presentations were good and left me with lots of ideas about things I could develop. They were also very practical ,meaning that I was able to go back to work and do things straight away. An excellent day, my thanks to everyone involved.
